Hi! I’m Erin, the creator of Velvet Loop Vintage.

I have always loved thrifting, searching through racks and imagining how each piece could be brought to life again. After spending six years working in a thrift store, I saw first hand just how many beautiful clothes end up going to waste.

Velvet Loop Vintage was born from that experience. I wanted to create a way to rescue these clothes and help people discover their dream style! Every bundle is handpicked with care, and inspired by the ideas you share with me.

I know that not everyone has the time or ability to access thrift stores all the time, so I wanted to create a more fun and accessible way to bring the thrift to you! I hope you see the magic in what I create for you.

✿ Commitment to Sustainability

Giving pre-loved pieces a second loop at life is my mission.

Sustainability is a key driver behind what I do. Every year Australians throw out an average of 23kg of textiles, and only 10-15% of clothing in thrift stores ends up being purchased and reused. By reusing and recycling secondhand pieces in my bundles, I'm aiming to help change that.

Each bundle is made using vintage and pre-loved clothing and accessories sourced from thrift stores and secondhand networks in Brisbane and all around the world.

Instead of contributing to the cycle of fast fashion, I create unique collections that bring fun back into your wardrobe and reduce waste!

FAQs

Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to our Custom Style Form. This is where you’ll share your sizes, Pinterest board and extra notes about your personal style. From there, I’ll analyse your inspiration and spend the next 3-4 weeks sourcing and curating your dream bundle!

We offer 3 size options for custom bundles:

Small: 4+ pieces, 1+ accessories
Medium: 6+ pieces, 2+ accessories
Deluxe: 8+ pieces, 3+ accessories

Every bundle includes a personalised styling deck with mood boards, outfit ideas and styling inspiration using the pieces in your bundle.

Each one is handpicked just for you and totally unique, no two are ever the same!

The price of the bundle includes the time + cost spent planning, sourcing, washing, packing and shipping.

From the moment I receive your inspo and details, I’ll spend 3-4 weeks sourcing and curating your perfect bundle.

Every bundle is unique, so it takes time to source and style to your personal taste. I will keep you updated at key points as the process moves along.

Due to the one-of-a-kind and secondhand nature of the items, we don’t offer returns or exchanges on bundles.

Every bundle is my spin and analysis on your inspiration, and every piece is lovingly chosen just for you. I hope you’ll see the magic in my creation!

Secondhand pieces comes with the expectation of existing wear and tear. However, if an item is found to have a major fault, beyond the expected wear and tear of pre-loved and vintage garments, please reach out directly (velvetloopvintage@gmail.com) and we will provide assistance.
